A half remembered dream…

It’s been a long time since a movie made me think the way Inception did.Â I remember that The Matrix had my mind going as well, and I can’t recall anything since then that got my attention in the same way, though I am sure I’ve just forgotten.Â Not only has Inception prompted me to thinkÂ bit about dreams vs. reality (how thin is the line between the two), but its even prompted me to shoot and process some new stuff.Â I also can’t get enough of the movie soundtrack, created by the great Hans Zimmer; this guy is a musical genius! So, where was I?Â Oh yeah… waking from a dream. Or am I still dreaming? I’m not sure anymore, are you?

This is fab, and it does have a very dreamlike atmosphere – that tilt shift is really something – this is more like a painting than a photograph (and I do want one of those lenses, but a macro has to come first I think).

I’m going to see “Inception” tomorrow, at the IMAX in 3D, so will look forward to the soundtrack as I really loved Hans Zimmer’s score for “Gladiator” – I expect I’ll enjoy the film too 🙂
