Man, I was having a hard time coming up with inspiration for today’s photograph and accompanying words. But then I came across a particularly moving blog post from a well-known Leica aficionado who laid bare his love and loss for all to see. I read his post, twice! This was real life, and heartfelt. It made me think about that most important aspect of human existence… love! Love for your God, your family, your friends, your neighbor… and, yes, yourself! But love is hard, isn’t it? You’re damn right it is!! But what in life worth a damn isn’t? So every time we get knocked down, we have to get up and get back into the fight. Heck, we’re commanded to do that, after all. It’s a lot like the great ballad by the group Poison, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”. But I’d rather feel a little pain in love, than never to know love at all, so I refuse to fear love! How ’bout you?
