Someone else is steppin’ in…

My good buddy Bob Lussier is, arguably, the king of shooting and processing amazing abandoned steps, stairs, stairwells and banisters.Â His work continues to aMAZE me, and I find myself more and more drawn to the subject matter he seems to prefers to shoot.Â I also know he appreciates good blues music, just like me.Â Well, Bob.Â While you were at home relishing the stairs you’ve already shot, someone else (me) is steppin’ in to take a crack at trying to bring something even half as luscious as you do to such steptacular Urban Exploration, Bob!Â Â And, ’cause you like the blues, I decided to use the great Buddy Guy to help throw down the gauntlet:

Steppin' in

I REALLY appreciate the kind words. I’m truly humbled. The child in me wants to taunt, “Anything you can do, I can do better!” But I think I’d be setting myself up to fail 🙂

Finally … Buddy Guy ROCKS (and blues). He was a student, and contemporary of the great Muddy Waters (played with him on Muddy’s ‘Folk Singer’ album). He was a huge influence on Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Great stuff.
