Wired were the eyes of a horse on a jet pilot…

What a great day of shooting today!  Started of with a couple of hours at Kaserne Krampnitz, followed immediately by a couple of hours at the Luftwaffe Museum in Gatow.  Got lot’s of images to process, but this is the first I wanted to put out there for you all to see.  Some of you may have realized that I listen to a wide range of music… REALLY WIDE!!  Everything from Abba to Xavier Naidoo and everything in between.  Under the letter “S” in my collection you’ll find that SOAD (System of a Down) gets a lot of play time with me.  Some of their lyrics have some great meaning, while some are just… different and hard to decypher (if they even meant for them to be deciphered).  One song that has puzzled me is the song ‘Jet Pilot’.  I still don’t really get it.  Oh well; what matters is that both the song’s title and some of the lyrics fit perfectly with today’s image.  I leave it to you to determine the meaning of the song. Some of the lyrics are posted below the image.

Jet Pilot

Wired were the eyes of a horse on a jet pilot,
One that smiled when he flew over the bay,
Wired were the eyes of a horse on a jet pilot,
One that smiled when he flew over the bay.

My horse, is a shackled old man,
His, his remorse, was that he couldn’t survey,
The skies, right before,
Right before they went gray,
My horse and my remorse,
Flying over a great bay

~ System of a Down

Love the TS treatment on this!

It is so cool to see an HDR of an airplane, or any vehicle for that matter, that is not way over done. Love the softness of the tilt shift! Great image Jacques!

Thanks guys. That jet was made for the TS!
