A warm place

Here is another shot from my latest Urban Explore to Sanatorium “E” near Berlin.  I processed this one to Nine Inch Nail’s A Warm Place, one of Trent Reznor’s best songs, I’d argue.  It took a bit of creative maneuvering to get my camera and tripod in just the right position to frame this shot they way I wanted it, but after a bit of fiddling about, I was able to get capture what I wanted to show you all.  And, as is most often the case with what I shoot, this is all about lines and angles, as well as frames within frames (and of course, light!).

A great song for sure, we love a good dose of NIN in our house. A nice straight forward approach to the framing of this one, even if it did take you a bit of fiddling. To me the look and feel is quite the opposite to the title, cold and bare. I know the big iron rad is an object to emit heat but I always find the look of iron to be cold. I like the little touch of colour just above it too.
Another winner Jacques! 🙂

I was never a big NIN fan, but I’m a huge Freq Fan. This is another winner.
