Adventures in Kenya: The Lodge in the Garden of Eden

As some of you know, I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks traveling with my wife and daughters through Kenya, and it’s been an amazing adventure.  So much has changed since we lived here, just over a decade ago, yet so much remains so very familiar.  Sadly, we’re winding down the last days here, though the memories of the last two weeks will remain with us forever.

Sounds like you had a great trip. Can’t wait to see the photos!

Super image – looks like a nice place to stay. It’s a shame when your holiday comes to an end, but great that you’ve had a good time and spent time with the family somewhere that’s obviously special to you.

Nice processing on this (as usual). I expected to see a giraffe outside your window!

Glad you had a great trip. I can’t wait to see the images you bring back.

Glad the trip has been a good one for the family, but looking forward to the Freq getting back to the HDR grind – selfishly of course! Beauty room by the way!

Sorry that you’re having to “rough it”! Watch out for monkey thieves and open doors. Waiting for wildlife . . .

Glad you’re all having a wonderful time. Great shot of your room, can’t wait to see all the photos from your trip. 🙂

Hey friends! The trip was most definitely ace. Sadly, no giraffes outside this room the moment I shot this, but plenty of waterbuck nd zebra on the grounds. The Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disneyworld came to mind, another hotel my family and I really enjoyed. Back in Nairobi now and we’ll be visiting the elephant orphanage later this morning. We love elephants, especially the babies,

Looks like a very nice place to stay! We’ll be going to South Africa sometime in the next year or two… hopefully in style like that!

Great shot. Looks like you got your ThinkTank bag a workout on this trip… 🙂
