Berlin is a great city, with lots to see and photograph. With only a few months remaining to explore, I am trying to get to the places I’ve had on my “must-see” and “must-photograph” list. This, Schloss Charlottenburg, is one of those places. So, after a great tour of the castle, a fantastic dinner in the castle restaurant, and a wonderful baroque concert performed by musicians in period dress, I grabbed this shot outside the gates as a memory of that perfect evening.

I absolutely love blue hour shots, and you crushed this. Stunning light Jacques, and the few stars that pop on the left are a great touch as well.
They almost look as if they are doing battle in the sky. I really like the blue glow coming from the left hand side. Nicely done!

I thank you all. This one was definitely one of my favorite shots of late, and really got me thinking hard about the importance of the perfect light you find at the edges of the day. I need to find more opportunities to get out an shoot during those times, which as most of you all know is very hard to do. But that won’t keep me from trying.
