My buddy LuÃs dos Santos and I had such a great time shooting at this old, abandoned East German Chemical factory. Â The place was huge, but we did our best explore as much of it as we could over the course of about eight or so hours. Â I came back with a lot of great shots from this place (at least 80 percent of the day’s shots were worthy of posting here on the blog), so it ranks up there as an epic URBEX adventure. Â We wanted to shoot from elsewhere in this old dining hall, to capture some amazing wall murals, but the slick and slimy floor was so slippery we figured we’d never be able to get in and out without taking a dive. Â Even with the few steps we took to get this shot, it took lot of walking to get the grease off of the soles of our URBEX boots.
