Spare me the details…

Here’s a shot I previewed a couple of months back with an iPhone photo I posted on Instagram, as well as over on Google + and here on this site.  So now that I’ve finally gotten around to processing the DSLR version, I thought I’d share it.  I found these old tires out in the woods (found some nasty ticks out there as well, and really loved the details in the treads, not to mention how the tires had been positioned.  I couldn’t have arranged them better myself.  I was going to talk a bit about how I process my photographs, but I’ll spare you the boring details.  If you want to get a flavor of what I do to my photos, I walk you through my process in the videos you can find over on the top right side of this site, under Tutorials & How-Tos.

It’s cool how the tires provide depth in the way you composed the frame! Reminds me of working with my dad for 5 years – seemed to always have tires laying around the shop with some having dirt built up in them for having rested so long!

REALLY well processed. I agree that the tread in the tyres is lovely. The wide angle works very nicely.
