What  better way to christen my very recently purchased Sony NEX-7 (decided not to hold out for the Sony A7R given, for one, the lack of a super-wide angle lens at launch) than with a few brackets of URBEX goodness.  This is but one of the buildings on the now abandoned sanatorium and hospital complex just waiting for an explore.  It’s my understanding there are all sorts of great subjects to explore and shoot there, including lots of medical equipment.  Apparently it is also one of those places you don’t want to go alone.  I used to explore some of those creepy places alone in Germany, but nowadays I’m all for having someone there to experience it with me.  After all, I don’t have to be faster than the creepy crawlies, I just have to be faster than the dude exploring the place with me, right?
