Been thinking more and more about making to Detroit to capture some of the remaining abandonments before they, like some many locales in Europe, are demolished or repurposed. Thinking about the possibility of a Detroit explore, and doing the research required, inspired me to post the picture you see here today, which is one of the O.R. rooms of an abandoned sanatorium in Germany.

probably difficult to beat this one in terms of creepiness, everything just looks so surreal. you were on the right place at the right time!
